Application:

The temperature-controlled nitinol spring made of nitinol alloy can change differently at different water temperatures by using the unique shape memory function of nitinol. If it is placed in hot water, the length of the nitinol spring will immediately expand, and then put in cold water, it will immediately return to its original state. Nitinol spring can control the water temperature of the bathroom pipe, and adjust or close the water supply pipe to avoid burns when the hot water temperature is too high through the "memory" function.

It can also be made into fire alarm devices and electrical equipment security devices. When a fire occurs, the titanium alloy spring made of memory alloy is deformed, and the fire alarm device is started to achieve the purpose of alarm. A nitinol spring can also be placed in the heating valve to maintain the temperature of the heating room, and when the temperature is too low or too high, the heating valve will automatically open or close. As a new class of functional materials, many new uses of nitinol alloy are being developed and utilized.
